I was requested by a public school in the Basque Country to produce some old schooled bank notes. Alvaro, the Latin language teacher of the school had the idea to pay students with this money in exchange of their good notes or good behavior.
At the end of the school year, the teacher would exchange this money for sweets, day trips or better grades.
In order to provide the banknotes with some security measures I printed by hand a transparent UV ink which reacts to purple light.
